Teneil MacNeil attended Osgoode Hall Law School, having been called to the Bar in 2007, and having made partner at a national law firm in 2016. Currently, she practices independently, with a focus on fertility and adoption law, having herself adopted a child, and having also expanded her family by way of assisted reproduction. Teneil otherwise enjoys practicing in the area of civil litigation, assisting clients with various types of legal disputes including employment related matters, contract disputes, negligence claims, personal injury claims, benefits claims, etc.
Throughout her career, Teneil has acted as trial counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has otherwise appeared before numerous administrative tribunals including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, and the Small Claims Court. Teneil also has experience with the Unified Family Court of Ontario, and is notably a trained mediator.
