Currently, she practices independently, with a focus on fertility and adoption law, having herself adopted a child, and having also expanded her family by way of assisted reproduction (gamete donation). Teneil is uniquely skilled in being able to relate to clients and their oftentimes  tumultuous journeys, beyond which, having surrounded herself with a strong network of professionals and organizations, she is able to connect clients to a variety of supports, many of which she believes to be invaluable.
